Computer games scheme

A project with the goal of reducing obesity in children by promoting the child to the game on the PlayStation was dismissed by activists as a gadget.

Ont tested schools known as “active” computer games, allowing players to always do more than simply press the keys, to improve the physical condition of prices.

The Department of Health, a system of Droitwich Worcester City Partnership and school sport, which won a prize in the last month.

The designer of the programme found “active” game consoles, some of which are to imitate, as users, the necessary steps to a real sport, participation in physical activity.

But Nick Seaton, chairman of the Campaign for Real Education, rejected the idea.

He said: “The student would be far better to make a serious sport and the game competitive, as this sort of thing.

“It looks like another Gimmick. He supported the views of regular physical activity. ”

Five schools in Worcestershire used “virtual PE” attempt to attract more children to the active participation, The Independent reported Sunday.
