Internet Protoco address

My post about whether Google’s records of the Internet Protocol address should be considered under personal information privacy law, brought two comments from Google, Matt Cutts, an engineer, and Peter Fleischer, Google’s Global Counsel privacy.
Both go over the many technical and legal reasons that the IP addresses from Google does records, insulation, be tracked back to an individual. Very true.
But the converse is also true: The I.P. Google collects addresses, when combined with other information, can sometimes identify an individual or household.
This raises all sorts of impacts that need to be considered as we move into a world where so many more shares
